(}t Z44 P( e K Outward Bound Snow-white sails in the sunset Of our high school days, depart. To carry us out on the sea of life. Where for each waits a special part. The tide of life has run too fast As it ripples o'er the years. And we're sorry to leave the dear old school. And the games, and the team, and the cheers; But there's no time to linger now. And wish for those by-gone days; Our future's begun, as it has before. For others in other Mays. Sure, we'll miss the kids we knew. And the slamming of locker doors. The teachers who filled our empty heads. With boring, but priceless, stores; The study hall, where one just couldn't. The chats at the library counter. And the big, old clock on the 'ssembly wall The center of interest and wonder; The groans at sight of a long assignment, (Though almost as loud when short) And all the other things we knew. At anchor in school's sheltered port. The paths we walk won't be the same. And many and varied our parts. But mem'ries of our years together will be Tucked closely away in our hearts.
