In Memoriam The death of Mr. Gerald Franck, January 6, of a heart attack came as a great shock to his many warm friends and admirers in our school and community. Mr. Franck was born in Big Rapids and had lived here all his life, graduating from our high school in 1930. He attended Ferris In- stitute and received a B.S.degree from Central Michigan College. He also did graduate work at the University of Michigan and Michigan State University. He began his teaching career in the county schools and has been a teacher in our schools since 1946 where he has taught Industrial Arts and Driver's Training. He served three and a half years with the army in the European Theatre during World War II. He was a member of the Lutheran Church. Mr. Franck is survived by his wife, Delores, and two daughters, 1 Julie and jill. His passing is a distinct loss to all who knew him. Mr. Gerald Franck Mr. Franck's mechanical drawing class.
