To the Juniors, we leave the honor of being the 'big whigs of the school. To the Sophomores, we will, hoping they don't hit the teachers, our never miss spit wad shooters. To the Freshmen, we leave the opportunity to occupy the seats we leave vacant providing they are careful not to scratch their names beside ours. I, Charles Merrell, will my false teeth to anyone who plays football. I, Donna Gregory, will my long eyelashes to anyone who thinks they need' them and my job in the office to anyone who likes bookkeeping, I, Jim Smith, will my height to Jim Harrnison and Freddie DeGraw and hope they split it evenly. I, Grace Barton, will my lateness to classes, to anyone who would like to have their grades cut. I also will the time it takes me to get ready, to Sally Twitchell and hope she uses it wisely. I, Joan McWilliams, will my Bob Hope nose to anyone who wants it and my small hands to anyone who thinks they can get them. I, Donald Hacklin, will -my eg Q' Frank Fear so he can get some use out of his abilities with me gms. ' If you think your'e beaten you are, If you think you dare not, you don'tg If you'd like to win, but you think you can't, It's almost a 'cinch' you won't, If you think you'll lose you've lost, For out in the world you'll find Success begins with a fel1ow's will- It's all in the state of mind. For many a race is lost Ere even a step is run And many a coward falls Ere even his work's begun Think big, and your deeds will grow, Think that you can and you will-- It's all in the state of mind. If you think you're outclassed, you are You've got to think high to rise, You've got to be sure of yourself before You can ever win the prize. Life 's battles don't always go To the stronger or faster man, But soon or late the man who wins, Is the fellow who thinks he can, Coach Edwards This page Co-Sponsored by ERICKSON 'S CAFE, BIG PINEY and RELIAEE CLEANERS, Pinedale is-Q MISS LUPHER, Instructor 0 ' 0 0 This page Co-Sponsored by THE KEMMERER CAFE and GEORGE SAWAYA, Kemmerer, Wyoming ll 41 'Y ,,,.a-if . Honors awarded by our chapter this year have been Ruth Budd being elected chapter mother and Jerome Decker elected chapter brother. The boys that went enjoyed the trip very much and are looking forward to the one next summer. After school started in September, our judging team traveled to Laramie to the State F,F.A. judging convention. ln October, the Sublette F.F.A. and 4-H Bull Show and sale was held in Big Piney. We didn't have many bulls in the show, but the ones we did have placed well toward the top. In November, five of the boys and Mr. Anderson went to the Ogden Livestock Show to show the carload of feeder steers they had been training and fitting for the Lions Club. They did a fine job and won Grand Champion on them. ' We have had skating parties and basketball games for our recreation and have enjoyed them very much, Jerome Decker and James Smith are going to apply for State Farmer, we all hope they will make it. Our State F.F,A. convention will be held in March in Sheridan. The officers, State Farmer Applicants and Mr. Anderson will attend and hope we make Master Chapter like we did last year.
