4-71 6 Under the leadership of Mr. Frank Bray and Mr, Robert O'Neil, Big Piney boys and girls are keeping the title of 'The Best Beef in the Green River Valley. 'Some of us are raising our bulls so it will be possible to start a pure bred herd, quotes President John Tanner. Mrs. Inez Bennett, Mrs. Pearl Spencer, and Mrs. Mai- cille Carr are 4-H leaders of the girls' clubs in Sewing, Cooking, and Home Improvement. We are all looking forward to a very interesting and prosperous year.

Bottom row: Jimmy Harmison, Jerome Decker, Dean Luce, Mike Marincic, Mr. An- derson. Ourfirst trip this year was to Blackfoot, Idaho for the Idaho State Fair which was held September 14 through 16. This was a big event and was quite interesting. The next big trip on our schedule was to Laramie on September 26 for the state judging contest. We won nothing but gained some good experience, Our annual 4-H and FFA Bull Sale was held October 16, 1951. This year was a record high of the 48 bulls selling at an average of S1060.00. Frank Bray, Jr. had the high-selling bull this year which sold for an even 32000. 00. The next trip was to Casper, Wyoming on April 3, 1952 for the state FFA Conven- tion. This was a big event with boys attending from all over the state. There was an election of State Officers followed by the State Speech Contest.
