CALIFORNIA SCHOLARSHIP FEDERATION The California Scholarship Federation is an organization of students with high scholastic standards, they are given certain privileges for their fine work. in order to belong you must make 10 points on your semester average, three po i nts are 3 i ven for a ' s and 1 point for b ' s. this year there are 5 MEMBERS, The group always has many trips and social activities as a reward for their scholastic ac- HIEVEMENTS. The OUTSTANDING EVENT FOR THE CLUB IS THE State Convention, held every spring. The Big Pine Student body is proud of ' these MEMBERS and HOPE THAT IN YEARS TO COME MORE STU- DENTS WILL WORK HARD TO RAISE THEIR STANDARDS HIGH ENOUGH TO . ' .IN MEMBERSHIP IN THE C.S.F, STUDENT COUNCIL The student Council was made up of the, fol- lowing STUDENTS: SALLY GRIFFITH, PRESIDENT, BILL Bye, vice-president, 3etty Stewart, secretary, JEANNE Towers, treasurer, Ruth Scott, Eldred Richards, ted hunnewell, Gera ld watson, and Rita Cyrus. The elementary school representatives were duane Rossi, and mike Paul. They have worked well under the guidance of their advisor vr. Dietrick. The Council is a member of the district Student council Association and has attended many of the meetings this year.
