Class Prophecy After completing the tour , Barbara and I were going to dine. On the way we encountered another of our classmates, Edward Sanderson. He was in town for a National cattle convention. His ranch is second to none in size, value, and quality of stock. He has never been able to get a complete count of his cattle, his acre- age is so tremendous, taking in 1 3 of the state of Texas. He told us of his wife, the former Donna Spence, another of our classmates, who owns and operates the International Spence ' s Meat Packers Corporation, which alone packs enough meat daily to supply all of the United States, plus England and France. In addition to this her company supplies Africa, Australia, Alaska and part of the South Sea Islands. Their brand of beef comes from Sanderson ' s Ranch. While talking with Ed, it was suggested that he accompany us to dinner. Readily agreeing we entered what used to be Putney ' s Grocery. It has been remodeled and enlarged into a beautiful and famous restaurant owned and operated by o n e of our classmates, Irvin Putney. Though the food is rather expensive we managed to get a free meal, since we were recognized and welcomed by the proprietor himself. After returning from dinner I purchased a Big Island Gazette, a daily newspaper. While reading the paper I noticed that James Vess ' s television program has been voted the top variety show for the year . While James rehearses for the shows his wife stays home and cares for their two boys. A sample of his entertainment which gained him this high honor was a basketball dribbling exhi- bition put on by Wayne Wilson, a former classmate of ours. He is presently captain of the Charlemont Blue Jays , the number one Professional Team of the Nation. In completion of my tour of Big Island I was invited to attend an enormous and elegant banquet given by a well known society lady of Big Island, none other than Janet Camden another member of our class. The banquet was given in honor of the 1957 gradua- tion class . I will go back to Paris feeling very happy that I have been able to meet some of my good friends and see how successful they have been in life . Prophet Patsy Arthur

Class Prophecy On my return trip from Gay Paris ' where I Patsy Arthur , am a fashion model for a world renowned clothes designer, I de- cidedto visit my old home town of Big Island, where I received my High School Diploma in 1957. After complet ing a magnificent trip I taxied from the airport to the Waldorf Astoria Hotel where I have a suite. When I entered the hotel to register, whom did I meet but the manager himself, no other than, Reginald Wilson, who had been managing the most famous hotel in the world for six years. Reg- inald, you might know, is still an eligible bachelor. Girls who want a good looking man with plenty money should try to snare him, if they can . While talking to Reginald, I was informed that the special floor showwas to be the 1 967 Rock-n-Roll Revue. The feature attraction was the Rock-n-Roll Artist Gayle F i f e r . Gayle has toured all of the United States , Europe , Asia, South America and Canada . She took two years of advanced Rock-n-Roll at Overstreet ' s School of Dancing while still attending Big Island High School. After settling down in my suite in the Waldorf, I started to stroll down Broadway . I immediately bumped into one of my class- mates, Barbara Oliver. While reminiscing with Barbara I learned that she is the Mayor of Big Island, the first woman to earn such a high honor. She said she would guide me on a tour of Big Island, when I visited there, as it has grown to a town of 1 50,000 people. We caught a bus to go to the United Nations building on Cem- etery Hill. As we got on the bus I noticed that the driver looked familiar , actually he was, I was informed that he was Donald Burks , the owner and operator of the bus . Don is now a candidate for Governor of Virginia. He is still a much sought after bachelor. I guess that ' s why he has been so successful. As we toured the United Nations Building, we saw the former Jean Wise, who is now the private secretary to the Ambassador of Coleman Falls. She has now been married for seven years and is the proud mother of triplets, each as pretty as Jean. After leaving the United Nations Building we toured the new Page Memorial Hospital, named for one of our present teachers at Big Island High School. As we entered, a doctor came out of the Surgery Room and as she removed her mask we learned that she was the World Famous Brain Surgeon, Doctor Della Tolley Eisen- hower who had just completed a very tedious brain operation. She is now happily married to Dr. Eisenhower and has three little girls.
