Jeanie Marie Mates Nickname: Bean, Jean, Beanie, Killer, Beaner. My hobbies are listening to the radio and running. My honors for sports and academics are Honor Roll (4) Honor Society, Student of the 9 weeks (2nd semester). Award for P.E. (Freshmen yr.) and Honorable mention for Volleyball (1984). I par- ticipated in Lettermens club (3), Spanish club (2), Honor Society (I), Pep club (I), Student Council (I), and the sports I participated in are Basketball (4), Volleyball (3), Stat girl (I), and Cheerleader (I). I held the offices of Class President (Jr.-Sr. yr.), Pep Club Vice President (Jr.-Sr. yr.). Class V.P. (Jr. yr.). Student Council Tres. (Sr. yr.), Honor Society Sec.-Tres. (Sr. yr.), Spanish club V.P. and Sec. (Jr.-Soph.). My Future plans are to attend Sheridan College for a year and then transfer to the University of Wyoming for the remaining 3 years. Special Awards: Wyoming Honor Scholarship, Fredrick and Harriet St. Clair-Thornrider Scholar- ship to Sheridan College, Wyoming Odd Fellows Scholarship, President Academic Fitness, American Legion Award. Susan Holbrock Merrill Nickname: Sus, Spaz, Dupe, Queen Mary. My hobbies are riding my bike. Volleyball, going to the mountains, reading, and skiing. My Honors for both sports and academics are student of the 9 weeks, A-Honor Roll (4), Volleyball, All-Conference (2), All-State (I), Basketball, Girls State Alternate. I participated in Pep club (4), Honor Society (I), Spanish club (3), Lettermens club (4), Student council (3), Basketball and Volleyball. I was an officer for Student Council V.P., Pep club Sec., Spanish club Sec., Class Sec., and Tres. Spanish club Pres., S.C. Rep of Class and Pep club. My future plans are to go to College in New York and study Business language. Special Awards: Rochester National Scholarship to Rochester University, Presidential Academic Fitness Award. Jay Murphy Nickname: Smurf, Snarf. My hobbies are Motocross racing. My Honors for both sports and academics are 2 year Lettermen for Football, and Honor Roll. My future plans are to go to College and work towards a goal of Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer science. Special Awards: Sheridan College High School Achievement Scholarship. Brenda Jo Norskog Nickname: Bren. My hobbies are boating, hiking, traveling and having a lot of fun. My Academic Honors are Sophomore Class Honor Roll. I participated in Pepclub 2 years. Jeri Pierce Nickname: Shorty or J.P. I enjoy traveling, sewing, snow skiing, hiking and making other people smile. I participated in Pep Club both in 1983-84 and 1984-85. I made the B Honor roll in 1983-84 and also in 1984-85. My future plans are to attend Cosmetology School in Nebraska. Honors: Cosmetology Scholarship to Western Nebraska Technical School. Rod Roberts Nicknames: Road, Wuss. I enjoy fishing, hunting and most sports. I participated in Lettermen’s Club and Student Council. In sports I was in football 4 years earning 4 letters, basketball earning 2 letters and in track earning 4 letters in 4 years. I was named All Conference Football Running Back in my junior and senior years and 2nd team All State Football Running back those same two years. Honors: Sheridan College High School Achievement Scholarship. My future plans are to attend Sheridan College for at least I year. Jay Pelissier Nickname: Jay, JayBoy. I enjoy movies, music, drawing, writing, girls, sports and making movies. I participated in Lettermens club 3 years and in Student Council 3 years. I was an officer in Lettermen’s Club, Student Council Representative, editor of the school newspaper and vice president of my freshman class. I participated in football for 4 years and earned 3 letters and was captain in 1984. I was also in basketball and track for 4 years each, earning 4 letters in track and 3 letters in basketball. I was also captain of the basketball team in the ’84-85 season. I was a member of the National Honor Society for 3 years. Honors for both sports and academics: American Legion’s Boys State -1984 - Knowledge Bowl Team -1984-1985. - All Conference Football 1983-1984 - All State Football 2nd Team 1983 - All State Football 1st Team 1984 - Honor Rolls 4 years - Student of the nine weeks Second Quarter Senior year. Presidential Academic Fitness Award. Scholar Athletics. My future plans are to attend Northwestern University in Illinois. Tonya Stephens Nickname: Tony. I enjoy photography, working in the darkroom and biking. I participated in Pep Club for 4 years, Drama Club, 2 years, Spanish Club 2 years, Lettermen’s Club 4 years. Student Council I year and Yearbook I year. I was Stats Jr. for both boys and girls basketball I year, a cheerleader for 3 years, and on Sheridan High’s swim team for 4 years. In swimming I received awards for All-State swimmer 3 years in the 200 I.M., 400 Free Relay, and 100 Butterfly. I was Captain of that team in my senior year, and editor for the yearbook and Student Council Rep for the Pep Club also in my final year of high school. I was also Spanish Club Treasurer for my junior year and again Head Cheerleader in my sophomore year. I was an Honor Roll student and student of the nine weeks.
