The membership was more than doubled as Jacalyn Connolly, Maureen Harvey, Patty Garber, Jodi Brayton, Valene Jensen, Susy Miller, Susan Goodman and David Masters were sworn in. The Honor Society spon- sored a Drug Seminar in the Spring. This was attended by the community as well as the students. President John Berry inducts new members David Masters, Jacalyn Connolly, Susy Miller, Valene Jensen, Susan Goodman, Maureen Harvey, Patty Garber and Jodi Brayton. 19

Student Council President Marsha Norskog browses through the displays at the Learning Festival. Seniors swept the leadership of the Student Council, with Marsha Norskog elected president; Harold Jensen, vice-president; Barbara Blaney, secretary; and Ross Hilman, treasurer. The first activity of the year was a Learning Festival. This included a display of educational toys. Sale of these items and an open house were Student Council sponsored. Christmas activities and the collection of food and clothing for a burned-out Big Horn family were also Council projects. The Student Council was also consulted on several disciplinary matters. De Leon Pep Club - Spirit Plus 20 The Pep Club had new uni- forms this year. October was the month of the roast beef dinner. October was also Homecoming with the Pep Club leading the festivities. During basketball season every Friday was color day with the Pep Club members in their uniforms. The Pep Club sponsored a chili supper the night of the Tongue River game for the people of both Big Horn and Tongue River. Another Pep Club project was the Sweetheart Ball with its Valentine theme. During District Tournament held in Gillette the Pep Club travelled back and forth every day, cheering the team to its third place win.
