This year the yearbook staff has decided to dedicate this yearbook to the most important issue in the United States today- the Environment. For those of you who do not know what this entails, it entails the preservation of our natural environment, wildlife, and limitation of unnatural disasters, through preservation. The Yearbook Staff has tried to present a contrast between the beauty of nature and the ugliness of pollution. Wc hope this contrast will create a startling awareness in all of you of the immediacy of our environmental problems. And we also hope that this awareness will lead to some kind of positive action on your part toward the alleviation of these problems. The Yearbook Staff
