During the second term the members went on a field trip to the Biddeford Savings Bank. They saw the com- puter at the Pepperell M111 during the third term. Pictured above are the first place winners. The aims of the Math Fair were fourfold: 1. To stimulate increased interest and enthusiasm in mathematics among students at Biddeford Junior High School. To provide recognition for academically minded students. To provide for the inter-changing of ideas between students and teachers. Eon The Biddeford Freshmen Basketball Team had a rough season with a record six wins and eleven losses. Truman, C. Antonakos A combined total of twenty-two games was played by the 7th and 8th grade basketball team this winter. The seventh graders won all six of their games, while the 8th graders, campaigning in a tough league, won five. Bergeron The 7th and 8th grade cheerleaders who proved to be very helpful in boosting the school spirit, were led by Denise Pepin and Debra Bergeron. Richards Under the supervision of various members of the faculty, the Ski Club went to Mount Agamcnticus every Wednesday after- noon after school. This gave the students an Opportunity to take skiing lessons as well as to ski on their own. One day during the February vacation, the club went on a day trip to Moose Mountain in New Hampshire.
