God has always desired the World to be a place of light and brightness. john says, God is light and in him is no darkness at all.', Not only physical light, but mental and spiritual light come from God. That darkness should envelop man Was not God's plan, but through Sa- tan's trickery it did. However, God made a remedy for that. He sent His Son to be the True Light and Christ left us with the admonition, Ye are the light of the World. We, the students of B.T.S., are endeavoring to be true representatives of the glorious gospel of Christ, to let our light shine unto the uttermost part of the World. We are striving to make our motto not Send the Light but Take the Light. gg X gg 1 api, .Xm- f V f Y ,661 4 Q s K f, X4 fw 5 'L X 4 mv, , gh!!-',, JXXX :WX XM f ,Q I ,X X f Q N V Q' , ,, Xf?5?f??Mf X JA, .. I sholl toke time to feel the trogedy of emptiness in the lives of people I meet. I sholl seek by oll meons to bring show- ers of refreshing to foll upon sonds of truth ond kindness. I sholl seek to turn deserts into rose gordens. The unowokened ore everywhere. They ore osleep to their possibilities. Equipped for lives of service ond o greot destiny, they wonder oimlessly on. Hedged in by the stone woll of their own froilties ond foults, they see not the world of opportunity thot reoches beyond the stors. It sholl be my high resolve to owoken ond inspire. It sholl be my oim to lift them up to where they sholl see the greot world of beouty, love ond inspirotion. Desert minds ond borren heorts sholl be mode to rejoice ond blossom os the rose.
