Newness In 1968 Newness cannot be overlooked when describing Bex- ley this year. Chants and cheers resounded during athletic events as the student body thundered the teams to victory with new-found spirit. During free periods of the day, the beat from the newly installed juke box pulsated through the halls. Above the mild roar of chatter, the crunching of apples from the renovated apple machine could be heard as students satisfied hunger. Newness was echoed in the carrels of the remodeled library by students attempting to master foreign languages. The addition of ten new faculty members supplemented the returning staff, and they add- ed their voices to the cooperative effort of instruction, discussion, and evaluation. 1968 was the year that the new soul of Bexley was reflected in sounds.
