WILL h We, the Class of 1945, of the Beverly Rural High School, in the township of Colorado, county of Lincoln, and the state of Kansas, being sad of heart at leaving our school, but being of sound minds Cwith the exception of two moronsldo make and ordain our last Will and Testament. we hereby appoint as our sole administrator and executor, our Senior sponsor, Mrs. Nettye Greene. Part I. KAP. To the juniors we bequeath, the privilege of calling themr selves dignified seniors after September 1, 1945. QBJ. The honor of occupying our old study hall desks, including all gum under and in the above named. Part II. To the sophomores we bequeath our ability to fool the teachers hoping that they will uphold our high standards. Part III. To the freshmen we leave the ability to skip school and all the unidentified sounds in a quiet classroom. Part IV. A few personal belongings of the following are to be left as such: Madonna Bergman leaves her gift of gossip to Maxine Smith. Bill Cole leaves his height and athletic ability to LeRoy Morton, and his way with the women to Alfred Detmer. ' Lucreta MbBride leaves her ability to get along with people and her pleasing personality to Yuvonne Trapp. Lawana Webb wishes to grant to Deloris Pierce her ability to suc- ceed without having to use flowery speech. Jack McGeary leaves his one arm and reckless driving to Willard Meyers. Harlen McGinness leaves his nviolent woo' and his ability to play the bass horn to Lowell Grim. He leaves 'Gracie' to Jack Crooks. ' Lois Pautsch leaves her good nature and ability to mke the best of everything to Mary Ann Anderson. Wlnifred Percival bequeaths her hot temper and forceful voice to Almeda Gorman and may she spend the rest of her life keeping them both under control. John Phelps leaves his speed record to Herbert Traulsen hoping that Herbert will get him a V-8 and overcome John's former record of 103 miles an hour over cross country roads. Gilbert Kowalke leaves his wisecracks and apparent innocence to Don Stover. Gilbert refuses to part with his dimples for he may need them to use on some hardboiled Army sergeant. Eunice Pistora leaves her flirting ability to Shirley Hazelton and Carrie Lowe hoping that they can get around to at least half the old m mbers daily. Ralph Riekenberg leaves his old heart throb, Donna Percival, to any boy who can catch her and wishes him lots of luck in leaning a heme packed life.
