Fall ASB activities -full of fun Barbecues, ping-pong tournaments, and backgammon tournaments. What do these fun activities remind you of? Why, Fall ASB activities, of course! Fall ASB started off the year with the post- football game barbecues, commonly known as Berger's Barbecues, and throughout the semester provided fun activities for the student body. These ac- tivities included the ever successful ping-pong tournaments, where the sec- ond fioor patio was converted into a Teachers Marilyn Wulliger and Gary Thorpe partic- ipate in the Walk-a-thon Cabovej. Also, according to ASB Secretary Angela Daves, The first Beverly backgammon tournament was a huge success. The Berger Administration altered the for- mat of the traditional Hchange-up rally slightly. This year, instead of having the students attend the rally on the front lawn, the members of the rally traveled around the school going to the students. One activity, though most people are unware of it, was the Classified Break- I i A .4 fast, where members of the leadership class prepare and serve breakfast to the classified personnel, who are the non- teaching members of the staff. Naturally, Junior-Senior Night, Hello Day, and the Albion Street fund-raising drive were their usual successes. One new high- light of the semester was the first Home- coming, which because of its popularity, will become a new Beverly tradition. gg,

Following the game, a Homecoming Dance was held in the Swim-Gym. Re- freshments and music by the LA Dream Team were provided as well as a show by the Motor City Crew and a break dance contest. Sean Kehoe displayed his breaking skill while the hit song Rockit shook the gym. For his efforts, he won the 525 pot. ASB successfully pulled together the ac- tivity in three weeks.
