They ranged from IE uring the fall of this year, a l . music to sports. Students got their running shoes in ac- tion one Saturday morning for the PE department's Jog-a-thon. Everyone was allowed one hour to work themselves around the track as many times as pos- sible. Jeff Forman ran the most laps with a total of 38. Over 900 students danced to the beat of the first dance, Summer Madness. The event attracted so many dancers that eventually people had to be turned away from the music and strobe lights. Two bands, Ocean and Revolver, jammed at Beverly during lunch. Their music could be heard throughout the auditorium as students watched and lis- tened. Other activities included a frisbee dem- onstration on the front lawn and guitar lessons given by Bob and Gail Levine. The football players showed off their sexy legs when they traded places with the cheerleaders. ' cooooooooloooo lj The rock band Ocean performs to a large crowd in the auditorium. Zj Two students disco together at Summer Mad- ness. 3j A professional frisbee player displays his ex- pertise. 45 Another band entertains students with its mu- sic. SJ Varsity football players play cheerleader for a day. 65 Raising money at the .log-a-thon are a few basketball team members. 71 Lowell Blaustein joins in with Summer Mad- ness.
