Dr. Robinson has boon actively at work this year on Flexible Scheduling. The program will alter nearly every aspect of school operation, bringing changes in curriculum content, teaching methods, class organization, and school staffing. The primary emphasis of the program will be independent study and research. During his independent study time, a student will be able to go to a special resource center to do research work or receive help from a department teacher. The Board of Education has given its enthusiastic endorsement of the plan which will be phased in over a 2-year period starting in September.

To this end, the student is provided with an expertly trained counselor who is available every day during the school year. Students and parents are invited to confer with the counselor and to discuss the pupil's record so that his future program may be outlined.
