Under the outstanding leadership of President Tony Drewry and sponsor, Mr. David Fish, the fall Boys' League Cabinet planned and executed many out- standing events. They began the semester with an Orientation Day. An Armed Service panel was held in order to acquaint Beverly boys more thoroughly in this field. The league also sponsored a drive to collect magazines for Juvenile Hall. ln the sports field, the league sponsored a bowling tournament, as well as show- ing World Series films during boys' physical education classes. When Christ- mas time came, the league successfully sponsored its annual Book Drive. Since this year is the fiftieth anniversary of Beverly Hills, the Bays' League did some- thing a little different from the usual. Along with this semester's Norman News- reel, they presented a newsreel made by Normans in 1940. The fall semester certainly proved to be an exciting and fun-filled one for all. 29
