DEAN OF BUYS MR. STEVE MILETICH familiar figure, To all Normans is Mr. STeve Milefich, who holds The posiTion of Dean of Boys. His duTies include super- vising The ATTendance Office, sponsoring The Boys League and all iTs acTiviTies, co-advising The STudenT CourT and The STudenT Council, and, mosT im- porTanT of all, helping Norman boys,wiTh any problems ThciT may arise. Mr. MileTich, or Coach, as many know him, began his career aT Beverly fiffeen years ago as a bas- kefball coach. His experience for This Task came from his posiTion as sTar guard on U.S.C.'s championship baskeTball Team in 1942. From U.S.C, he wenT info The Navy where he served as a LieuTenanT j.g. in charge of recruiT Training in GalvesTon, Texas, during World War ll. Now, as Dean of Boys, Mr. Milefich is one of The founda- Tions on which resT many of The decisions of a public high school such as Beverly.
