It has been said that the race marches forward on the feet of little children. We can easily adapt that statement to one we have emphasized frequently at the Beverly Hills High School-an informed youth guarantees an informed citizenry and thereby establishes the soundest safe- guard against encroachment by any of the insidious isms that are contrary to our democratic principles and ideals. lt is our hope that the graduating sen- iors have moved substantially forward in enlightenment, understanding, and edu- cational curiosity and are better able to meet their many responsibilities on the road ahead, whether it be to the colleges or universities, to the trade or technical schools, or to gainful employment. We are proud to have had some share in your growing-up process. We hope you are proud to look upon Beverly Hills High School as your Alma Mater. Good Luck - if you represent yourself well, you will represent Beverly well! Ld . ' ' si , gg Mr. Kenneth L. Peters, principal With enthusiasm for student activities, whether on the football field or in the classroom, Mr. Peters came to us four years ago after being principal at Monte- bello. l We have all come to know and love his warm, friendly personality, his cheer- ful smile and sly wink put everyone at ease. Our principal is someone to be proud of, and we are happy to have him with us.
