Wilh Merry Merrill and Pally l-leim each occupying lhe loreman's posilion lor a semesler, lhe League perlormed many oulslanding lasks. Among ils accomplishmenls are lhree lhal meril special nolice. The Albion Slreel School Chrislmas parly was held lor lhe less lorlunale children wilh Sanla Claus and his League helpers dislribuling gills. The Girls' League is known lor ils philanlhropic nalure, and in lhe inleresl ol olhers, lhe girls sponsored lhe Red Cross drive al Normandy. Anolher imporlanl iob, ollen overlooked by mosl sludenls. was lhe arranging ol some excellenl assemblies. These lasks, and olhers, were carried oul lo perleclion by Beverly's belles. The League can look back upon lhis year's records and lrulhlully say, Today well lived. Af Samo's Bay League Boys' League conference, Dave Phelps and Gordon Clarke helped iron ouf problems of fhe brawny sex.
