Sangster. Planning, Build ' A' i Chess Club The main objective of the Chess Club. sponsored by Mr. John Lapsley, is to familiarize students with the game of chess. Students who know the game com- pete in tournaments for Class Champion- ships. Students new to the game are urged to participate for pleasure and practice. Debating Club International affairs are central topics at the weekly meetings of the Debating Club. This year the club has chosen the issue evolving from the selective service. Art Service Club The Art Service Club is respon- sible for bulletin and showcase displays. With the help of Mrs. Adele Niebergal, the members ar- range house bulletin boards and showcases in keeping with par- ticular occasions and seasons. The help of the club in decorating the school is appreciated throughout the school. Key Club The Key Club is a non-profit organization with its main aim being to help other organizations and people. Under the auspices of Mr. Richard La Pointe. the club sponsors school functions. such as this yearis Christmas Dance.
