Pitman, Historian. 9 L13 I -J Distributive Education The Distributive Education course of Beverly High School is a program designed to give those students whose chosen future careers are in the field of merchandising, the advantage of both classroom and on-the-job train- ing. Mornings are spent in discussion with their advisor, Mr. Richard Di- Carlo and doing classwork related to buying and selling. The students then leave school at 11:15 A.M. to com- mence their work day at jobs obtained for them by Beverly High School. This dual training is a definite ad- vantage for the students as they em- bark upon merchandising careers in our highly competitive world.
