Frere Jacques, frere Jacques if I8 Miss Eleanor Vvarren heads the Foreign Language Department at Beverly High School. Courses are offered in French, German, Span- ish, and Latin. The departinenfs purpose is to give the student the ability to communicate in a foreign language, both in oral and written form. Facilities of the department include a lang- uage lahoratory and a new reading room. Film strips and magazines were ordered to supple- ment class work. Nancy Glasser and Dick Wallace, in the language laboratory, seem to enjoy the tapes of French anec- dotes. I V
