Sf 'tx MATHEM TIC Mr. Bertram Leadbeater heads the Mathe- matics Department at Beverly High School. This department ranges from general mathe- matics to trigonometry. To develop an interest in mathematics, and to help students develop their ability, Beverly High School has a mathe- matics team which competes with other mathe- matics teams in the North Shore area. Faculty members of the Mathematics Department con- duct the Review Math, Audio-Visual Aid, and Slide Rule Clubs. In addition to helping stu- dents in their everyday mathematics classes, the Review Math Club is a definite aid to students preparing to take College Entrance Examina- tions. All of these aid the students in their search for mathematical knowledge.
