Presidentg Ronald Leinus, Presidentg Margaret Aandreud, Secretary. Class Histor As seniors of 1956, we first enlisted our services to the Beulah High School in 1952. The enrollment of the class was MS. Our class was the first to escape the previously traditional ninitiation.n The Halloween Party was sponsored by us freshmeng but we were well repaid by the seniors, who spon- sored the Christmas Party. Upon re-enlisting for a second term, our enrollment number was hO. we had lost 7 members, but were joined by 2, Carol Wells, and Janis Krause, who left us again in the second six week's period to return to Bismarck. This year the Freshmen Welcome Party was sponsored by us, and we also had the privilege of having six of our class members wait tables at the annual Junior- Senior Banquet. Our junior year began with M2 members. Those who joined our group were Mary Jo Rettke from Redfield High School at Redfield, South Dakota, Robert, Jeanne, and Joanne Goodall from Newtown High School, Janis Krause from washington High School at Milwakee, Wisconsin, and Russell Reich. The play, nln Walked Judyn, was presented by us in that year with Mr. Arnold Mueller directing. We also had the honor of sponsoring the traditional Junior-Senior Banquet, which was entitled nHawiian Paradise,u and attending the Prom given by the Beulah Women's Club. Thirty-eight of us returned to complete our fourth term and to get tossed out the doors of Beulah High School upon graduation. Three former members retired, Mary Jo returned to Redfield to continue her education there, and our number was increased by one when a graduate of 1955, Jim Abbey, liked school so much he returned to continue his education another year. The high- lights this great year were: the sponsoring of the Christmas party for the faculty and high school students, attending the Senior breakfast, presentation of the senior play, guests of the juniors at the Junior-Senior Banquet, and sponsors of the picnic for the juniors and ourselves.
