' l my f I NORTH i.1AKD i'i5 I ,,L,. g The Beulah Chapter of Future Farmers of America had a very successful past year. Its judging teams again ranked with the best in the state. The officers together with members cooperation are giving the other chapters a little Beulah spirit. A well kno1m member, Larry Voegele, brought out his speaking ability when he took first in the state contest then went on to get the best record North Dakota ever received :Ln the Regional by carrying to third place. The Dairy Judging Team being the best in the state won a Holstein heifer calf which is now under the care of Norman Sch- lender of Golden Valley. The Second Annual Parent 6: Son Banquet was a great success. At this occasion five Honorary Chapter Farmers were elected for having given extra notable help to the local Chapter. Those elected were: Ur. A. O. Totdahl, Hr. Pat O'Nei1 Mr Norman B. ,..t A. Si af' owen, nn-. me-Qld N. nmy, and ur. Clemens Brigl., ' '- The organization, as a whole, of Beulah is a hard hitting team in all contests it enters. This year the Chapter took Gold in Parliamentary Procedure and Gold in Public Speaking with James Baszler representing the District in the State Contest next June. Our Chapter was host to the District for Ieadership Training and Parliamentary Procedure Contests. Ne, the Beulah F. F. A. Chapter are proud in our victory but we do not think we are doing it for ourselves. Us do it for this Commmity which arqone would be proud to represent. We thank everyone for this generous help and good cheer. Y nnunax-1 wf . ills-:Il 3 E fi assist QT ' f . Q, a W aw H 29
