Emhnf Mtv bg 321:12 ante As we leaf through the New York Times, we come upon the famous Who 's Who column by our own Jackie Dantuono. Although she writes under the pen name of Jack Dante, she can't hide her sneaky style. Well, on with the column. Um, what have we here--- The candidates for President this election year are none other than Joe Lynch and Dave Garn. Joe has gotten his experience as a general in the Army. Although Dave hasn 't been seen too much in politics, I think he can handle the job. Any man that can discipline a family of 20 children ought to be able to handle a countryl Doctor Daniel Rowe, who you 'll remember as that mad chemistry student, has discovered the cure for the common cold. You gargle every hour with Rowe 's Rat Rinse and you 'll cure your cold in three months. Mrs. Sherie Humbert Borer has just donated another million for the building of an orphanage on the moon. Sherie always did love children, and even with eight of her own, she and Ralph are willing to help other needy children in the universe. Paul Feathers, that noted night club owner, has just opened his third night club on Mars. The name of this club is Marvin 's. when we asked Mr. Feathers why he picked this name, he said-- It was where I got my start.' Once again, as always. the United States is in front of Russia in the space race. Last Thursday at 6:00 we launched Construgg ll. Aboard was the famous woman astronaut Lt. Judy Baker. Lt. Baker orbited the planet Pluto three times then returned safely to the earth. when asked to comment on her journey, Judy said, It was wonderful, but ever since my last year at Bettsville High, I've been going in circles. You 'll remember that Lt. Baker was also the first woman to orbit the earth and the moon. Accompanying her on the trip was Susie Baker who served as her chief stewardess. Glancing at Susie 's record we fine that she now owns three spaceship lines, two interplanetary stations, and is bargaining with President Lilliptianous Singerwollingford, for the purchase of his planet, Venus. Construgg II was the creation of General Mike Burd. The color and shape came from his first car, The Renault. The opening of the trans-Atlantic turnpike brought visitors from all over the world. First, we see Larry Schwochow owner of Schwochow 's Cheap Shipping. One of his trucks will be the first to cross the trans-Atlantic Pike. His Motto is Ship Cheap through Cheap Shipping by Schwochow 's Cheap Shipping Shippers. Conchita Rodriquez and her husband from South America donated 325, 000, 000, 000 for the building of the pike. If you want another super highway you 'd better drink more of Connie's Coffee. Prof. Charlet Steffanni, architect of the pike, christened the pike Ogglethcrpehaggan. I see Charlet still hasn 't gotten away from those long names. Prof. Steffanni 's next pursuit will be to build a trans-planetary road to the moon. The U.S. has finally gotten a budget whereby in ten years we 'll be out of debt. Gary Simpson, the world renowned accountant, came up with the idea--for every dollar 's worth of gold, you make 2-one dollar bills. ln this week 's issue of Post, there is the life story of Karen Swartzmiller, the woman who revolutionized the work of the private secretary. Karen discovered a short cut to taking notes in shorthand. She is calling it Shorter Than Short Shorthand. The world is closer to peace than ever before. Gerry Whitacre, president of the Peace Corps, has predicted peace within the next year. Along with the thoughts of world peace and the conquering of the universe comes Mike King who kept sports car racing from becoming extinct. ' Mike is trying to get a day set aside for sports car racing on the Ogglethorpehaggen pike.

As we leave the classroom behind, we hope to maintain always our youth in spirit, and to mature mentally to the point where our loved ones will show pride and we, our happiness. The success of our families, our teachers, and ourselves will then be apparent.
