MIXED CHORUS Musical ability has been this year by the demonstrated Mixed Chorus both as an entire group and as a basis for small Chapel programs, er groups. P.T.A. programs, festivals, both county and local, have been means by which this group has been able to improve. Since improvement comes only through practice and perform- ance, it is only fitting to say that this chorus has not only been given opportunities but has also taken advantage of thbmo Those who represented the school in the vocal contest were Corrine Fravel, Doris Swartz, and Isabel Klopp. Each received an nexcellentn rating. Above all should be com- mended the fine cooperation and interest in the music events this year. Not only was it true in the school, but also was it shown by the people of the community. The Seneca County Orches- tra Festival which was held at Hopewell Louden brought to- gether all bands and orches- tras of the county for a grand concert. Ours was a part of this festival. On April 19, the Band and Orchestra participated in our own music concert. Several of the group were entered in the instrumental contests and made quite good showing. These people were Lois Yocom, Bill Carper, and Helen Burkett.
