Coming Home With Pride Dr. Eze Ogueri II, who attended Bethune- Cookman College in 1948, is now a lawyer and banker who represents NIPEC, an independent petroleum marketing firm. Dr. Ogueri returned to enroll his son at B-CC. He also returned as guest professor of Political Science and open Diplomacy. Dr. Cleo S. Higgins was a teacher of Dr. Ogueri, and they spent much time together speaking ofthe way things were in the good old days. '

Oratorical Contest Heyn Memorial Chapel was the scene of an oratorical contest, that featured several outstanding speakers. The crowd was pleased with the styles and presentations of the participants. The chapel was filled with applause for the performances, and the judges has to decide who was number one. Dana Murray was chosen as the best speaker, and the crowd agreed with a rousing roar of approval. A trophy was awarded for the performance. sl . ,V - ? 'E E' . j XT 1? Career Day 1986 Representatives from companies across America came to emphasize the changing face of industry in America. Students were urged by the keynote speaker to spend time preparing for the hard road ahead. The same parties will be here years from now, but only the academically prepared will move forward to bigger things. Dr. Rogers P. Fair, Jr., a B-CC graduate, who now practices medicine in Detroit, Michigan, was the speaker for the day. The students were able to relate to his down to earth meaningful message. The college is indeed proud of Dr. Fair, son of our college chaplain, for his accomplishments.
