xii J THOMAS D. DEMPS Director, Concert Chorale Under the direction of Thomas D. Demps, the Concert Chorale has become internationally famous. He received his musical training from Bethune-Cookman College, Teacher's College and Columbia University. He has taught music in the public schools of Florida and is called upon, frequently, as an adjudicator at many local festivals. A former member of the B-CC Concert Chorale, Demps sang professionally with the dePaur Choir of New York City, under the outstanding conductor, Leonard dePaur. The choir has traveled throughout the United States and overseas including re- cent concerts in the Holy Land during the Jerusalem Festival of American College Choirs. 7 ,lgn
