CLEVLCE PERIOD | Mr. Edsall Department Supervisor Although the apparent objectives of the science courses seem to be to scare the girls with a dissected frog, to blow up the Chem. lab., or to putter with pulleys, sci- ence plays an important role in everyday life. The Science Department, including biology, chemistry and physics, helps the individual attain knowledge and become more efficient. This year, innovations in science study were introduced to the class of 1960. If a senior had the necessary ability and time, he or she was permitted to study “Ad- vanced Biology” and or “Advanced Chem- istry.” Through these and other develop- ments, the Science Department has proved itself to be one of the best in the state.
