September 22 . . . burnt orange uniforms appear for the first time on the practice field . . . light practice . . . Eagles ready! September 23 . . . Eagles win opener 21-O at the expense of Columbia, as Morway, Green and Brand- iord score. September 30 . . . Bethlehem Central cops second straight non-league tilt overcoming Roosevelt of Hyde Park 25-7. Gordon, shifted to fullback, scores three as Green makes up the difference. October 7 . . . ln first league tilt, B.C. shuts out Mechanicville 'I9-0. Hotaling breaks the ice and Gor- don finishes the iob behind superb line play. Second half finds first string warming the bench as J. V. does the rest. October 14 . . . Morway, Dixon, Green, Muirhead, Gordon, Leonardo, and McNary hit the scoring col- umn as Eagles overwhelm Draper 46-13. October 28 . . . Bethlehem Central entertains Sara- toga and the guests go home with a 24-7 fvictory. Gordon scores lone Eagle digit, while Wood puts three across for the boys from the springs. November 4 . . . Eagles win the game of the year as Gordon scores twice, once on an eighty yard run- back, to beat Johnstown 'I2-7. Game ends with Johnstown one foot away from another score. West- ern division of the E.S.C. ends in three way tie. November ll . . .
