New Yonx Dear Members of t he Class of 1951, The six years which you have spent in Bethlehem Central High School have been memorable ones, particularly so because during those years you have made many friends achieved in many worthwhile enterprises and laid a foundation for your years in college, on the job, and in your own homes- My congratulations to you as individuals and as a class for a job well-done during your high school course. We on the faculty feel that you have made a real contribution to the welfare of your school. Bethlehem Central was in motion again . . . halls resounded with the myriad cries of greeting . . . backs were pounded . . . accumulated confidences exchanged . . . there were additions to the well-remembered . . . a fresh coat of paint on the audi- torium walls . . . a greater horde of scholars filled the corridors . . . and extra-strict pass system brought the Junior High unprecedented quietness in their afternoon classes. Fall . . . the boys' gym classes set up the new football bleachers . . . clubs met and took up new business . . . classes again . . . new subjects painfully became familiar . . . the football teams scrimmaged on the field . . . the rough and tumble of dusty suits . . . practice cheers issued from the gym . . . a flaming fire and sweet music at the pep rally . . . blazing yellow school buses brought in the rooters . . . cheers, groans, and shouts filled bright, olive afternoons. 1O
