LUB The Bethlehem-Center Future Teachers of America Club received its charter on March 14, 1960. Its member- ship includes sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Its purpose is to acquaint students with the teaching profession and to interest good students in becoming teachers. Although the club has not been in existence very long, it has had a varied program of activities. The film What Greater Gift was shown, a question-and-answer period with the student teachers and the club members participating was quite informative, an afternoon spent in observing classes at the iunior high school was very in- structive. To promote a growing appreciation of the ioys and satisfaction of homemaking. 2. To emphasize the importance of worthy home membership. 3. To encourage democracy in home and community life. 4. To promote international good will. 5. To work for good home and family life for all. . ' 6. To foster the development of creative leadership in home and community life. 7. To provide wholesome individual and group recreation. 8. To further interest in home economics. This year the F.H.A. went on a trip to West Virginia University.
