The membership is composed of students enrolled in the Li- brary Science classes and vol- unteer librarians, who serve o minimum of one period a week in the library. This year's 1 club was limited in numbers because of club schedule con- flicts. Some of the activities of the Library Club include demon- stration and practice in book repair and arrangement of dis- plays for publicity purposes, and study of librarianship as a profession. The chief proiect of this year's club has been the keeping of a scrapbook of all school activites, containing pro- grams, newspaper clippings, and pictures of school activities as a continuing proiect, and it is hoped that each year's club will Stopka, Edna Rasel, Charlotte Philip, Mary Donahoo, Carol Jenkins, Deloris White, Mary Ann Filarsky, fidd- Mary Ann Antonic, Jack Ridge. FUTURE BUSINESS LE DERS OF MERICA During the T959-1960 school term our F.B.I.,A. Chapter has been very active, We held monthly meetings after school from 3 to 5 P.M. ln addition, we held twice- monthly meetings during activity period. At our after-school meetings we had a number of speakers from the business world. Besides our local activi- ties we have participated in many of the Regional and State Activities. Our club attended the Fall Regional Conference at Charleroi High School, the Spring Regional Conference at the Bellmar High School, the State Convention at Galen Hall, and we will send our sponsor, Mrs. Alma Doris Nagle, and Janet Kinick to the National Convention at Chicago in June. Our money-making proiects were selling pens and Christ- mas cards. The service proiect was a survey of the T959 graduates, with the help of our Guidance Counselor, Mr. W. J. Smodic, to find out how we could improve the curriculum to meet the needs of the outside world. We feel we have had a very successful year in our contests. We placed two firsts and two seconds in the Spring Regional and at the State Convention we had one first in shorthand and one second in spelling. 5 ar- oi.
