,V JANET M. KINICK SPELLI G CHAMP ln Chicago, June 13, Janet Kinick became one of three national spelling champions. She was a member of a three member team which competed for Pennsylvania in the national convention for the Future Business Leaders of America. Janet attained her position by placing first at the district meet held in Belmar. At the state convention she placed second which entitled her to go on to the nationals. At the nationals, each team sent one member in for the first round. Pennsylvania sent their third place member in. She spelled for some while and then was spelled down. Janet, second place member, then began to spell. Janet spelled all her opponents down and the first place member was not even called upon to spell. The students, faculty, administration, and people who know her are quite proud and wish her the best of luck in her future plans. C-0-N-G-R-A-T-U-L-A-T-l-O-N-S-l
