Third Row: The FBLA of Beth-Center Senior High School, Chapter I636, is made up of stu- dents enrolled in business subjects and is sponsored by the N.E.A. and the Eastern Busi- ness Teachers Association. It has National and State affiliation. The group is guided by a Chapter Con- stitution, as well as a National Charter and a National FBLA creed. The group has monthly meetings to dis- cuss items pertaining to business such as: further business, training, the ideal secretary, what other areas are doing for business stu- dents, etc. The local chapter is a part of Region IV of the State of Pennsylvania, and meets with Vis -.'.,...L. Gloria Peters, Donna McCain, Mary Lou Perowski, Dorothy Barger, Sandy Superak, Louise Westich, Mary Ann Lef..er, Elizabeth Lesso, Maxine Post, Helen Ron- cadori, Shirley Zets. They also meet in State Conference, as well as Na- tional Convention annually. This year we are hostess for the Spring Conference on April ll, at our school. We are also co-hostess at the State Convention on May 4-5, at Bedford, Pennsylvania. The organization gives students an op- portunity to demonstrate their business skills and to compete in the different levels of com- petition for prizes and distinctions. lt gives the member a feeling of belonging to an integral part of business by helping him be- come acclimated to business trends.
