ALPHA TRI-HI-Y This year the Alpha Tri-Hi-Y was made into an all senior group because of the increased number of students. Activi- ties were rather limited also because of this increase in the student body. Our first function was the initiation of new members at an evening service with a program of entertainment following. Other proiects included candv sales, preparation of baskets for needy families at Christmas time in conjunction with the Nurses' Club, and sending Valentines to children in the Washington Hospital, We assisted the Fredericktown Business and Professional Women's Club in their annual Heart Fund Drive. Our closing activity of the year was a mother- daughter social. SENIOR HI-Y The purpose of the Bethlehem-Center Senior High School Senior Hi-Y is to Create, maintain, and extend through- out the home, school, and community high standards of Christian character We strive for clean speech, clean sports- manship, clean scholarship, and clean living. The Beta Tri-Hi-Y is an organization established to create, maintain, and ex- tend throughout the home, school, and community high standards of Christian living, lt was organized in i937 so that a Tri-Hi-Y club for the freshmen and sophomores might be available. This year, however, the membership was limited to only sophomores because of the new junior-senior high set-up. We wish to thank our sponsor, Miss Ciccani, for her help and guidance, even though our activities were curtailed, we greatly appreciated her assistance,
