The purpose of the Student Council is to establish and maintain throughout the school at all times high standards of sportsmanship, com- pletes teacher-student understanding, co-operation, a high regard for fellow students at all times, and to maintain a school spirit, Two students are elected from each home room to represent the student body. The Student Council, a relatively young organization, is justly proud ot its members and accomplishments, however, it is always striving and working for the betterment of our fine school. Mem- bership in the club is limited to students in Library Science I and ll and volunteer work- ers who assist in the library at least one period a week, The purpose ot the club is to promote interest in library management. The Bethlehem Joint Youth Coun- cil is a youth group which is a part of the Governing Council of the Beth- lehem Joint Youth Center. The Youth Council is composed of l5 senior high members, 5 from each grade, and 5 junior high members. The purpose of our Youth Council is to plan dances and other activities for the Youth Center. Our meetings are held every Monday in school and the last Monday of every month at the Youth Center.
