EXECUTIVE COUNCIL AND QFFICERS The members of the Library Club are under the sponsor- ship at Miss Freeman. Mem- bership in the club is limited to students in Library Science I and ll and volunteer work- ers who assist in the library at least one period a week, The purpose ot the club is to promote interest in library management. It p-ermits the staff to indulge in creative thinking by planning the theme, by writing articles to accompany the hundreds of pictures, and finally, by setting up the lay- out mats,which are the dummy sheets of the actual publication, lt provides an opportunity to meet the businessmen of the area through our advertising program, and thus, it ac- quaints the public with our school. The purpose of the Student Council is to establish and maintain throughout the school at all times high standards of sportsmanship, com- pletes teacher-student understanding, co-operation, a high regard for fellow students at all times, and to maintain a school spirit, Two students are elected from each home room to represent the student body. The Student Council, a relatively young organization, is justly proud ot its members and accomplishments, however, it is always striving and working for the betterment of our fine school.
