Miss Channing, Mrs. Roseberry, Mr. Tselepis Snoball. Finally graduation season came and with it came the Prom, Baccalaureate services, the Senior Ban- quet, and finally commencement exercises. And now we leave this yearbook as o lasting reminder of our class, the first class to graduate from Bethlehem-Center Sen- ior High School, the class of l959. SENIOR CLASS SPONSORS Miss Channing Mrs. Roseberry Mr. Tselepis SENIOR CLASS OFFICERS President ,N .. , , cc E cc... c Toby Simon Vice-President Erma Raitano Secretary , .cc . .. . Louise Westich Treasurer c.. cc ,,, John Muchoney We who are graduating did not begin our high school years together as one class but rather as three separate classes. Our schools then were Bethlehem Joint, Centerville and West Bethlehem. Each one of us was a little frightened by the idea of beginning high school, because we believed that it would be very different from our other years in school. We were right, for we had to meet many new people, choose our own courses, compete in athletics, organize as- semblies, and promote school spirit. By the time we reached our junior year, we were well established and were represented by fellow class- mates in the band, as cheerleaders, as majorettes, and on the various athletic teams. Our main interests that year centered around financing the Junior-Senior Prom Centerville and West Bethlehem held theirs at the Nemacolin Country Club, Bethlehem Joint held theirs in the high school auditorium, and all three were successful. Then in our senior year, our schools merged. Once again we were faced with securing a place in new surroundings. We did succeed in re-establishing our- selves as has been proved by our activities. We began by electing our class officers. We chose Toby Simon, President, Erma Raitano, Vice-President, Louise Wes- tich, Secretary, and John Muchoney, Treasurer. By Christmas we had raised enough money to sponsor the Qtffg Q ...M John Muchoney, Louise Westich, Ermelinda Raitano, Tobin Simon
