Our record this year was two wins and two losses in the dual meets and one first place and one second in the triangular meets. The team did very well in the county meet, coming in second place. In the Washington County meet, six of our boys got medals for placing in their events, They were: Bob Shashura in the pole vaiilt, Glenn Detrick in the low-hurdles, Mack Kennedy in the mile, Nate Barron in the 440 yard dash, Martin Noska in the shot put, John Bartok in the 880, and our mile relay team of Detrick, Ruday, Fullem, and Murray, In the W.P.l.A.L, meet, Doug Woods high jumped 6 feet to place second.
