Noon Hour Newsreel These word pictures give you a little glimpse into some of the activities of different groups around B H S during the noon hour The cafeteria has such attraction for everyone The cooks are the most popular girls around school The boys either go back to refill their Down on the ball field a big softball plates to see the cooks or both game is usually in progress for many They can t be blamed though of the boys Then there are the basketball enthusiasts who keep the floor hot during the noon hour game A few c uples are to be seen strolling along h nd in hand in their own rosy world unaware of the aCtlV1t1CS around them Many f the girls discuss the latest fashions and try to seem so sophisticated but they are sure to be seen flirting with the boys Class Prophecy We feel that the class of l95l of Bethesda High School is an unusually outstanding class It has several outstanding students many hard workers and many who are bound to make a success of life For this reason the prophecy of the Senior Class was written tc try to look into the future and give an honest prediction of each Senior s life David Burns IS handy with tools and at making things He has had much experience working on a farm and for these reasons should make a success in h1s chosen profession He is now a representative for A1115 Chalmer s Neal Carpenter has worked hard all his life and will keep on working and will always provide for his dependents He has entered the army and is ready for a promotion Howard Davis can do many things well and is always ln there trying so Howard looks headed for a successful career He will be a famous mechanic for Ford Mary Ellen Dougherty has always done well rn school and will contrnue to do so rn the nursing profession which she plans to enter She has taken part 1n school activities so it looks l1ke Mary Ellen will get along well in life Look for her as Mrs Roosevelt's special nurse Shirley Dunable has always gotten along well with people and this asset among others should carry her far She will sing for the Kmg and Queen of England and will be a marked success Edward Green is a boy with a pleasing personality and who is always in there pitching so we know that these thmgs will help him make a success He is now the world's best known fisherman Benny Heskett is planning to go to college We know he will do well in whatever major he chooses He has been in many outside activities He will be one of the Pres1dent's specxal advisors 12 ... . . . 1 0 if I . .
