ENGLISH This year Bethel was co-host with Hamline University for the annuol William Faulkner English Major's Conference sponsored by the private colleges of Minnesota. The purposes of the Conference were to draw the English majors together for pleasure and the exchange of ideas. The main study this year was The Bear. CHRISTIANITY Continually trying to adapt, updato and expand its curriculum, the Christianity department will be adding Dr. Arthur Lewis to its staff next yea'. This addition will allow teachers of Christianity to enter other classes for example, present the theological aspects of evolution to science students. These coursos will help to meet the needs of the future elementary and secondary teachers. In addition, foreign students hove been utilized in giving contacts with the various languages to our students.
