V MISSION WEEK... Many interesting phases and problems of missionary work were presented and discussed during Missions Emphasis Week November 8 through 13. Representing various fields of heme and foreign missions were Rev. A. Bcrg-falk. Rev. W. Turnv all, Dr. and Mrs. C. Merchant, Miss A. Peterson, Rev. and Mrs. F. Sorley, Rev. and Mrs. I. Bjelland. Rev. A. Holmes, and Rev. C. Sundstrom. The closing service in tho fiold-house featured a panel composed entirely of missionaries curd executive secretaries of the B.G.C. mission boards. SOPHOMORE-JUNIOR RETREAT . . . For a respite from winter quarter studies the sophomore and junior classes held a week end rotroat near St. Croix, Wisconsin. Despite the below-zero weather the students enjoyed skiing, skating, tobogganing, and snow fighting. Dr. Charles Hatfield, guest speaker from the University of Minnesota, delivered thought-provoking messages on the Christian life. Snow frolicking end Indoor rills provide a full day of fun.
