. . . FESTIVITIES CHRISTMAS CONCERT The college chapel was the scene of the Christmas concert which was presented the evening of December tenth by the Chapel Choir, College Choir, and Male Choru3. The Choral groups sang a variety of Christmas solections ranging from the light to heavy classical. The program also included a carol sing dirocted by Rev. Nels Stjemstrom. TJ c choirs at the Christmas concert.

CHRISTMAS . . . SMORGASBORD A setting of brightly decked trees, red end white candles, and soft dinner music provided a cozy atmosphere for Bethel's traditional smorgasbord held in the dining hall. A wide range of Swedish delicacies was served to the capacity crowd. The smorgasbord preceded the Christmas concert and was served from five to seven. Scene from Smorgasbord. 18

TWILIGHT . . . Approximately one hundred couples enjoyed Twilight and Tinsel' the winter semi formal banquet. Highlighting the affair, which v as hold at St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church of St. Paul on Docombor 3. was the pro sentation of Dickens' The Christmas Carol. The play was under the direction of Miss Mildred Bisgrovc with Les Funk playing the leading role of Uncle Scrooge. Another attraction was a 3mall choral group which rendered selections of favorite English Christmas carols. The coupies arrive.
