This year the Junior Class of the Seminary was the smallest functioning body of the school, consisting of only sever, members. Seven for '47 could be their slogan. Many have felt that they could better serve their Lord in the Armed Services than continuing in school, and plan to return after the war is ever. Due to its size, the class did not sponsor any activities alone but assisted the Middlemen in sponsoring the Seminary banquet. The highlights of the Sophomore Class activities lor the year '44-'45 included the all-school powwow in Como Park in the early fall and the spring concert given by the Bethel chorus groups. The officers for the las: semester were: sponsor. Professor C. E. Carlson; president, Earl Trude; vice president, Gloria Anderson; secretary, Lois Thomas; treasurer, Ray Ashmun. The first semester Kay Shimatsu served as president and Mabel Anderson as vice president. At the Junior-Senior Banquet the class presented their graduating gift to the school which was a donation toward the purchase of a movie projector. The graduating Sophomores were guests of the Bethel Alumni Association at the Alumni Banquet and of the Freshman class at the Junior-Senior Banquet. L r Twenty-nine
