Hopkins, Principal Dear Seniors: I trust these twelve years you have spent in the public schools have meant much to you as you have worked and toiled these years to reach this milestone in your life. I congratulate each one of you upon this accomplishment. I believe in the years to come you may understand more fully how important these years have been to you. The knowledge you have gained, the friends you have made, both with books and people, the joys you have shared will long be remembered. As you go into the world very soon to make your own way, may you ever remember that there are two main areas in everyone's life one must reckon with, first, how to make a living, and second, how to live a life. You choose a vocation to make a living. May you always remember as you Strive to make a living you should constantly endeavor to live a good life.
