CLASS HISTORY FRESHMAN YEAR In September ’55, we began our first year of high school. This was the year we were introduced to the seniors through initiation. We elected class officers: Chip Farnham, president; Curt Taylor, vice-president; Anita Trapasso, secretary; and Robert Hennessey, treasurer. The first dance we gave was called The Butterfly Chase,” a title we shall never forget. SOPHOMORE YEAR This was the year we began to feel like we really belonged. The class officers were Chip Farnham, president; Bob Boyd, vice-president; Kayanne Straiton, secretary; and Bob Hennessey, treasurer. The girls got a chance to turn the tables with a twirp dance called The Chicks’ Pick.” We had a class picnic in June at Squantz Pond, a time enjoyed by all. The year ended with thoughts of our future. JUNIOR YEAR At last we were upperclassmen. The'class officers were Joe Curesky, presi- dent; Tom Steck, vice-president; Carol Meade, secretary; and Bob Hennessey, treasurer. In October we staged our minstrel called Club ’59.” It was a show presented in a night club atmosphere. B.H.S. will never see another show like that one! We shall always remember our first prom, For Sentimental Reasons,” held on Valentine’s Day. We ended this year looking forward to being seniors. SENIOR YEAR This was to be our final year in B.H.S. The class officers were Barbara Thomas, president; Ed English, vice-president; Tom Steck, secretary; and Bob Hennessey, treasurer. Our senior play was entitled Seventeenth Summer,” a production mixed with many emotions. The big dance of the year, the senior prom, was held in May. After this came the last week of our high school careers. It was the week of graduation, class night, parent night, class banquet, class picnic, and the big moment, Commencement Day. The last of four wonderful years at last had come to an end, filled with thoughts that shall be always remembered THROUGH THE YEARS. 12 Linda Hampton.
