Anderson, Francis Olson To The Seniors of 53 Dear Friends: What you are taking with you as you leave the portals of Bethel High depends on what you believe about education. Education has two main purposes: UQ To perpetuate our Culture. QQ To progress to a process of growing and developing. lt is the latter we are primarily concerned with today. It concerns not only what we do in school but in the home and community as well. Your new high school is a shining example of community spirit to take you in and provide its very best for you. If you in turn have made the best of the opportunities provided you, outside of school as well as within, then you should be in position to enjoy all the fine things of our democracy with no fear to face the future.
